Enters Season-Ending World of Outlaws World Finals at Charlotte...
4, 2018) The #4G team was back in dirt-slinging competition
on November 1-3 at the pristine Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord,
North Carolina, as the 12th edition of the 'World of Outlaws World
Finals' took center stage. The World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model
Series presided over all of the action at the 4/10-mile speedplant,
which culminated in a pair of $12,000 to win contests to close out
the national touring series schedule. In the two rounds of time
trials, Kody Evans posted the fifteenth fastest lap in Group B for
Friday's program, while he stopped the clock twenty-fourth quickest
in Group B for Saturday's extravaganza.
On Friday night, Kody placed fifth in his stacked
heat race and fourth in his B-Main. In the 'World Finals' finale
on Saturday evening, Kody finished seventh in both his heat race
and his consolation event. Unfortunately, the Camden, Ohio ace was
not able to advance into both of the 50-lap headliners, which were
won by Brandon Sheppard and Scott Bloomquist respectively. Full
results from the season-ending 'World Finals' weekend can be found

Kody Evans Racing Back
at Eldora for Rain-Postponed World 100
14, 2018) Kody Evans Racing (KER) returned to the famed
Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on October 12-13 for the rain-postponed
'World 100.' Action was slated to get underway at the 1/2-mile,
high-banked speedplant on Friday evening with a pair of $10,000
to win Twin 25s, but cold temperatures and rain showers pushed the
prelims back to Saturday afternoon. Kody Evans finished seventh
in his stacked heat race and later placed twelfth in his consolation
event. Unfortunately, Kody was unable to transfer into the 25-lap
daytime feature event.
At the "Big E" on Saturday night, all eyes of the 77
returning competitors were fixated on the whopping $51,000 top prize
and the famous globe trophies that were up for grabs for the winner
of the 48th edition of the 'World 100.' Kody wound up ninth in his
heat race and twelfth in his B-Main, which unfortunately kept him
out of the 100-lap crown jewel extravaganza. Full results from the
hectic day/night doubleheader in the Buckeye State can be viewed

Evans Suffers Mechanical
Trouble in Top Five at Florence...
7, 2018) The #4G team rolled into the venerable Florence
Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday evening, October 6. An unsanctioned
Super Late Model shootout was on tap at the 1/2-mile, Cincinnati-area
venue and a $3,000 winner's check was up for grabs. Kody Evans finished
a strong second in his heat race and was arguably the fastest car
on the racetrack early in the 40-lap headliner. Kody had moved up
to fourth in the running order and looking for more when he unfortunately
broke an oil pump belt. The Camden, Ohio native was relegated to
a disappointing fourteenth place showing in the Florence special.

Speedway in Alma, Ohio on September 28-29 for the 'Outlaw Invasion'
weekend, which featured a pair of high-profile World of Outlaws
Craftsman Late Model Series shootouts. On Friday night in the $8,000
to win weekend opener, Kody placed third in his loaded heat race,
but unfortunately suffered a flat right rear tire in the 40-lapper
and retired after only fifteen circuits in the twenty-second position.
At Atomic on Saturday evening in the $10,000 to win finale, Kody
knocked down the second quickest lap in Group A during qualifying,
ran second in his heat race, and later brought home a strong eighth
place performance in the 50-lap headliner despite hurting a motor
late in the distance. Complete results from both 'Outlaw Invasion'
programs can be accessed online by clicking on www.woolms.com.

at the 1/4-mile fairgrounds oval, Kody Evans timed in seventeenth
fastest in Group A during the qualifying session. After inclement

heat race and his B-main on Sunday afternoon. Unfortunately, Kody

Hensley, and Nick Latham at the drop of the checkered flag. Full

Soggy World 100 Weekend
for Kody Evans Racing at Eldora...
9, 2018) Kody Evans Racing (KER) had planned to unload
their #4G machine from September 6-8 at the hallowed high-banks
of Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio to vie for the prestigious
globe trophy in the 48th Annual 'World 100.' However, with the rainy
remnants of Tropical Storm Gordon postponing Friday and Saturday's
action at the "Big E" until October 12-13, only Thursday
night's $10,000 to win Twin 25s escaped the wrath of Mother Nature.
In the wee hours of Friday morning after a lengthy rain delay, Kody
Evans ran eighth in his loaded heat race before a wreck in his B-Main
dropped him to a twelfth place effort. Unfortunately, Kody was unable
to make the start in his 25-lapper. Complete results from the soggy
weekend in the Buckeye State can be found online at www.eldoraspeedway.com.
