The World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series took the Kody Evans Racing (KER) team to the ultra-fast Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee on June 19-20 for a pair of $10,000 to win throwdowns. On Friday night following afternoon thunderstorms at "The Gap," Kody Evans placed seventh in his stacked heat race and third in his B-Main before retiring from the 50-lapper after 45 circuits in the sixteenth position due to body damage. At Bulls Gap on Saturday evening in a similar $10,000 to win contest, Kody utilized a series provisional to advance into the 50-lap headliner and was officially scored twentieth in the final finishing order. The Camden, Ohio ace currently sits twelfth in the latest version of the WOOLMS point standings. Kody Evans Racing Makes First Trip to Davenport with Outlaws

Kody Evans and his #4G team followed the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series tour to the Hawkeye State on May 29-30 for two more series contests at Davenport Speedway in Davenport, Iowa. On the 1/4-mile oval on Friday night, Kody utilized a series emergency provisional to gain access into the $6,000 to win headliner and later finished twenty-second in the final rundown of the 30-lap sprint. On Saturday evening on Davenport's sprawling 1/2-mile speedplant, Kody grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his stacked heat race prior to winding up twentieth in line at the pay window following the $10,000 to win main event. Evans Follows World of Outlaws Tour West to Minnesota

The World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series schedule heated back up on May 22-23 with the 'Drydene Double Down Invitational' at the pristine Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minnesota. On Friday night in the $6,000 to win weekend opener, Kody Evans timed in ninth quickest overall during qualifying prior to finishing ninth in his loaded heat race and advancing twelve spots to wind up thirteenth in the final finishing order of the 30-lap feature event.

At Jackson on Saturday evening in the weekend finale, which boasted a whopping $20,000 winner's check, Kody placed sixth in both his heat race and the B-Main and had a possible top ten run going in the 60-lap headliner until problems late in the distance. The Camden, Ohio ace was eventually paid for an eighteenth place performance and currently finds himself tied for eleventh in the latest version of the WOOLMS point standings. Kody Evans and his #4G team invaded Federated Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri on Saturday night, May 9 for a DIRTcar Super Late Model special dubbed the 'Karl Chevrolet 50.' The high-profile race, which was contested in front of a limited grandstand crowd - due to coronavirus (COVID-19) restrictions - and a worldwide streaming audience, drew a stout 60 car field to do battle for the $7,000 winner's check. Kody clicked off the second fastest lap in Group A during the qualifying session prior to nabbing the third and final transfer spot through his stacked heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the sixth row in the 50-lap main event, Kody unfortunately slowed on lap 36 to draw a yellow flag and was officially placed seventeenth in the final finishing order. For the first time since March 7, Kody Evans is set to return to dirt-slinging competition on Saturday, May 9 at Federated Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri! The 'Karl Chevrolet 50' for the DIRTcar Super Late Models will be held at the St. Louis-area venue and a $7,000 top prize will be up for grabs. A whopping 63 teams are pre-registered for this special event, which will be headlined by a 50-lap grand finale. The World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series season heated back up for the Kody Evans Racing (KER) team on March 6-7 in the Volunteer State of Tennessee. On Friday night at Duck River Raceway Park in Wheel, Tennessee, Kody Evans grabbed the fourth and final transfer spot through his heat race before winding up fourteenth in the final finishing order of the $10,000 to win headliner.

At Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee on Saturday evening, a $12,000 top prize was on the line in the annual running of the 'Tennessee Tipoff.' Kody was forced to utilize an emergency provisional to gain access into the 60-lap feature event and was eventually paid for a twenty-second place showing after completing only fifty circuits. (February 11, 2020) The second leg of the 'DIRTcar Nationals' at Volusia Speedway Park took center stage tonight and a similar DIRTcar Racing program was held at the Daytona Beach-area speedplant with $7,000 up for grabs. Kody Evans posted the fifth quickest lap in his group during time trials before running eighth in his heat race and sixth in his B-Main. Unfortunately, Kody was unable to make the start in the 30-lap feature that was won by Tim McCreadie.

(February 10, 2020) The Super Late Model portion of the 'DIRTcar Nationals' kicked off earlier tonight at Volusia Speedway Park, as DIRTcar Racing presided over the first of six events this week at the historic Barberville, Florida speedplant. A 44 car field converged on the Daytona Beach-area facility to vie for the $7,000 paycheck. Kody Evans - making his first visit to VSP - timed in ninth fastest in his group during qualifying, but unfortunately had his fan go through the radiator during the course of his heat race. Due to the mechanical trouble, Kody was forced to scratch from the remainder of the program and did not compete in the 30-lap main event that was won by Brandon Sheppard.

The inaugural running of the 'Battle at the Border' wrapped up today at Vado Speedway Park, as the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series presided over a $15,000 to win showdown at the Vado, New Mexico oval. Kody Evans stopped the clock tenth fastest in Group B during the qualifying session before running fifth in his loaded heat race. Following a B-Main triumph, Kody rolled off from the outside of the ninth row in the 75-lap weekend finale. (January 4, 2020) Night two of the 'Battle at the Border' took place earlier today at Vado Speedway Park and another $5,000 payday was on the line for the cars and stars racing with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series tour at the state-of-the-art Vado, New Mexico facility. A strong contingent of 42 drivers once again took time during qualifying and Kody Evans started off his evening by posting the fifteenth quickest lap in Group B. After finishing sixth in his stacked heat race and seventh in his B-Main, Kody once again took advantage of an emergency provisional to start twenty-sixth on the grid in the 30-lap feature. The Camden, Ohio ace did his best to gain positions throughout the preliminary contest before winding up with another twenty-sixth place outing.

(January 3, 2020) The Kody Evans Racing (KER) team lifted the lid to their 2020 campaign earlier tonight in the inaugural 'Battle at the Border' at the pristine Vado Speedway Park in Vado, New Mexico. The World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series tour presided over the season opener in the desert and 42 competitors signed into the pit area to do battle in the first of three nights in "The Land of Enchantment." Kody Evans timed in seventeenth quickest in Group A during the qualifying session prior to finishing seventh in his stacked heat race and eighth in his B-Main. After utilizing an emergency provisional to gain access into the $5,000 to win headliner, Kody started the 30-lap affair from the inside of the fourteenth row. At the conclusion of the caution-free race, Kody found himself paid for a twenty-sixth place showing.

Evans Starts 2020 Season with WOOLMS Tour in New Mexico!

A new year brings with it the conclusion of a very short off-season, as Kody Evans Racing (KER) will start their 2020 campaign later this week with the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series in the state of New Mexico. The inaugural running of the 'Battle at the Border' will kick off the national touring series schedule from January 3-5 at the state-of-the-art Vado Speedway Park in Vado, New Mexico. A trio of WOOLMS programs will be held at the new facility in "The Land of Enchantment" with a pair of $5,000 to win preliminary shows taking place on Friday and Saturday. A rich $15,000 top prize will then be on the line in the finale of the 'Battle at the Border' on Sunday at the 3/8-mile, semi-banked oval.
