Kody Evans Spends Extended Racing Weekend at FALS & MRP
(May 7, 2019)
In the midst of a rainy extended weekend, Kody Evans Racing (KER) was able to beat Mother Nature on two different occasions from May 4-6 to race in the states of Illinois and Ohio. On Saturday night at Fairbury American Legion Speedway in downtown Fairbury, Illinois, Kody Evans timed in seventh quickest overall during qualifying prior to running second in his stacked heat race. After starting the $2,500 to win main event from the inside of the fourth row, Kody was eventually paid for a seventeenth place showing at the pay window following thirty green flag laps. At Moler Raceway Park in Williamsburg, Ohio on Monday evening, Kody once again placed second in his heat race, but rough track conditions caused the Camden, Ohio driver to pull off the racing surface early in the $1,500 to win feature and he settled for a sixteenth place finish.
